NEWS: HANDS UP IF YOU WANT TO DO SOME GOOD?!

We are looking for people who are willing to join our team for a few hours at a handful of summer events, to help sign up hundreds of new lifesaving donors to the stem cell, blood and organ registers.

COULD THIS, BE YOU?

ACLT recruit donors to save lives. Our staff and volunteers work close to 365 days a year to increase the numbers of lifesaving stem cell (bone marrow) blood and organ donors. We register donors from ALL ethnicities but we have a focus on the black, mixed race, Asian and ethnic minority communities due to a severe lack of donors from these ethnicities.

ARE YOU AVAILABLE TO GIVE UP 2-5 HOURS OF YOU TIME ON ONE OR MORE OF THE DAYS BELOW?

Saturday 15 July 2017 12 – 7   Lambeth Country Show, Brockwell Park, Norwood Rd, London SE24 9BJ
Sunday 16 July 2017 12 – 7      Lambeth Country Show, Brockwell Park, Norwood Rd, London SE24 9BJ
Sunday 27 August 2017 12-5   Notting Hill Carnival – Corner of Ladbroke Grove & Lancaster Road, London W11
Monday 28 August 2017 12-5 Notting Hill Carnival – Corner of Ladbroke Grove & Lancaster Road, London W11

In the last two years, we have signed up nearly 1000 new potential stem cell donors at the Notting Hill carnival. We believe with many volunteers at the Lambeth Country Show and on the main streets of the Notting Hill Carnival on Ladbroke Grove we could double our hit rate!

If you’re up for doing good, great! Prior to attending you will be briefed on all things ACLT so you know what to expect. You will also be kitted out with our ACLT t-shirt to help you stand out from the crowd. While we’re not able to cover expenses, we will keep you hydrated throughout the day, however, we’re sure the overwhelming feeling that you’ve contributed to help save the life of others, will leave you on cloud nine.

Whether you’re an individual, couple, a group of family or friends, YOU could be part of something amazing, and help our small charity to achieve its goal; to ensure a lifesaving donor is ready and waiting for anyone who is in desperate need.

If you would like to get involved or to hear more please email us at info@aclt.org or call the ACLT office on telephone no. 020 3757 7700. Office hours are Monday to Friday. 9am till 5.30pm.
