It seems somewhat crazy to think ACLT was officially founded 27 years ago, yet here we are.
Throughout these years we have done some truly fantastic work and helped to save many lives of people from the Black community and beyond, living with blood cancers and other illnesses where a lifesaving transplant is needed.
We’ve been able to push our message out regarding the critical need for blood, stem cell and organ donors from the Black community and even though we’re proud of what we’ve achieved thus far, there is STILL more work to be done.
THANK YOU to each and every single one of you who have made the commitment to support us in any way possible whether financially through monthly or one-off donations, to our wonderful AMBASSADORS who are always out with us at events, comedy shows, and registration drives, to raise awareness and shake donation buckets. To those of you who support us in the background and last but not least the amazing patients, families and people who have registered to be donors and gone on to donate blood, stem cells and organs working with us to elevate and share their stories in the hope of encouraging more lifesaving donors to step forward.
It has been a long 27 years, with heartbreak along the way, but along with the entire ACLT team, we are grateful for the support every supporter has shown us.
Here’s to another 27 more!
Love Bev and Orin x
