It seems somewhat crazy to think ACLT was officially founded 25 years ago, yet here we are.

Throughout these years we have done some truly fantastic work and helped to save many lives of people from the Black community and beyond, living with blood cancers and other illnesses where a lifesaving transplant is needed.

We’ve been able to push our message out re the important need for blood, stem cell and organ donors from the Black community and even though we’re proud of what we’ve achieved thus far, there is STILL more work to be done.

THANK YOU to each and every single one of you who have made the commitment to support us financially through monthly donations, to our wonderful volunteers who were always out with us at events, comedy shows, registration drives (pre the pandemic), to raise awareness or shake donation buckets. To those of you who support us in the background and last but not least the amazing patients and families who work with us to elevate and share their story in the hope to encourage more lifesaving donors to step forward.

It has been a long 25 years, with heartbreak along the way, but the entire ACLT team are grateful for the support every supporter has shown us.

Here’s to another 25 more!
