Who ACLT partner with
At ACLT, we are dedicated to getting more people to sign up for the blood, stem cell (bone marrow), and organ donation registers.
ACLT does not take donations, we work with organisations such as NHS Blood and Transplant, Anthony Nolan, and DKMS to encourage people to sign up to their registers to donate through our partners.
So why is ACLT here? We are here to highlight and diversify UK registers so that no one dies waiting for their donor match.

They are responsible for supplying blood for transplants. Understanding the importance of getting more people of Black African and Caribbean heritage onto the registers the NHS are working on:
- Increasing the awareness of the need for blood donors of black Heritage
- Recruiting 12,000 new donors of Black heritage to help with the increasing demand for the RO subtype needed by people fighting sickle cell disorder.
Last year they received blood from 19,300 regular donors from Black heritage from a total number of 799,000 regular blood donations, that is around 2% – blood and stem cell donations are needed more than ever.

One of our longest relationships is with Anothony Nolan, the UK’s largest bone marrow registry. Working together on campaigns like ‘Being African Caribbean’. Anthony Nolan recognises that there are huge gaps in donor registers and by partnering with us we can support them in saving the lives of people with blood cancer.
If you are aged between 16 and 30 you can join the Anthony Nolan register by providing a saliva sample.
Register to donate here – all it takes is a swab.
We are part of the International DKMS family. Founded in 2013, they are the world’s largest donor centre. Working alongside the organisation to register potential stem cell donors across the UK.

Luton International Carnival 2024
For the Luton International Carnival 2024, the UK Centre for Carnival Arts has chosen ACLT as their charity partner.
“The Carnival Arts have been a part of our journey and are always keen to support us with our mission. Being present in the Carnival spaces allows up to raise greater awareness of patient needs and the ability to register potential lifesavers.
We’re so pleased to be their Charity Partners this year because with their support we can continue Changing Attitudes, Giving Hope and Saving Lives.”
– Sabrina Jarett, National Development Manager at ACLT
God Daily
God Daily was founded by two friends who are bounded by their belief in God. They see every piece of their clothing as more than just fabrics, they are a living testimony. Together, they create a heaven where individuals can come together, irrespective of geographical boundaries, to share, celebrate and deepen their faith in God.
They are committed to the ACLT’s mission of giving hope and gifting life. That is why as part of their partnership they donate a proportion of the proceeds to the ACLT as their charity partner.
