GenZ we are looking to make you the next generation of lifesavers. We are looking for people between the ages of 16-30 to sign up to the stem cell (bone marrow) registers, where you could be a potential match and give the gift of life to someone looking for their donor match.
How do I become a lifesaver
Well.. all we need right now is for you to apply for an at home swab kit where you will take three swabs from inside your mouth. Once you have done this you send it back and our partners Anthony Nolan will see if you are a stem cell match for someone in need who is waiting.
Only 2% of people who sign up to the register become a donor. So, it is likely that you may never have to donate, we think that just shows how unique DNA is and even if you have a small chance at saving a life, that small chance is worth potentially giving someone the gift of life.
