28 YEARS OF GIVING THE GIFT OF LIFE...
Register to donate stem cells (bone marrow), blood, and organs to save a life.
WHAT ACLT DO...
In 1993, Daniel De-Gale was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. He became the 1st black individual in the UK to receive a stem cell transplant from an unrelated donor. Unfortunately, due to complications with his health, Daniel passed in 2008. Daniel’s story could have been different if his match had been found sooner.
As a leading Blood cancer/disorder charity, the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust is dedicated to raising awareness of the severe shortage of donors of Black heritage in the United Kingdom on the stem cell (bone marrow), blood, and organ donor registers.
Nicole loved keeping fit, music and reading, but it is harder for her to enjoy the things she loves since her diagnosis.
Ethan is 4 years old and loves reading, music, trains, going down fast slides and is soon to be a big brother.
John is of Jamaican heritage, making it harder for him to find a match. We appeal especially to those who share his heritage.
My name is Pablo, I’m 13 years of age and I have mixed emotions regarding my life, some bad some good but I am still alive.
Obi found his kidney match, but they were unable to come to the UK to perform the surgery. We are still looking for his match.
Over the years, Brenda has received several types of treatment however, her condition has worsened.
