TOMORROW (14 March 2018) will mark the 31st birthday of Daniel ‘Playzo’ De-Gale, the inspiration behind why ACLT was formed over 20 years ago.

To honour Daniel’s memory one of his closest friends, Oliver has decided to do a sponsored challenge… Oliver will be doing a marathon 10-hour DJ set!

To those close to Daniel his love of music was abundantly clear.  With his ever-growing vinyl collection and his much-loved turn-tables, Daniel regularly spun a tune or two for his family and friend’s enjoyment.

Huge fans of the UK Garage scene, Daniel and Oliver’s friendship grew over their love of music and a passion to work on developing their craft as budding DJ’s.

Oliver says:

“Music is what united us as friends. To mark his birthday I would love to use my platform to pay tribute to a wonderful soul and raise awareness on the important work being done by Daniel’s parents Beverley and Orin through their charity ACLT (African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust); a charity which engages the black community to provide a lifeline for those suffering from blood related cancers such as leukaemia and other life-threatening disorders.  I would really love to raise £500 for ACLT in honour of my dear friend Daniel. Please donate what you can.”
