The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 celebrates the legacy for cycling created by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The ride follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside along a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics. The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 finishes on The Mall in central London.
Ride with TeamACLT 2020
Fundraising Target: £600
Why ride for ACLT?
You share our belief that belief that no one should die of blood cancer waiting for a donor to become available.
- Someone is diagnosed with blood cancer every 20 minutes
- Every year in the UK 2000 people need a lifesaving stem cell (bone marrow) transplant from an unrelated donor
- Currently 4 in 5 black, mixed race and minority ethnic blood cancer patients will not find a lifesaving donor
Your RideLondon-Surrey 100 fundraising will ensure that we can continue to host patient appeals and donor registration drives. Riding with Team ACLT means you’re giving hope to people awaiting transplants because the next person joining the stem cell donor register may be a lifesaving match.
How we’ll support you:
We know you’re motivated to take action and help bring about change that makes a real difference. We’ll support with:
- Encouragement and advice
- Your own ACLT cycling jersey
- Help setting up your own online fundraising page
- A grateful hug and warm welcome when you cross the finish line

Thank you to previous Team ACLT riders
On behalf of the patients and families we assist, a HUGE thank you goes out to Victoria, Kirk and Ben.
Relatively new to cycling, Victoria was part of Team ACLT in 2016 and wanted to ride again in 2017. She confessed that it was a real challenge and that the hills were ‘no joke’. Her resilience and determination saw her through; as did thinking about the challenges faced everyday by people battling cancer.
Ben Castle #27020 and Kirk Benjamin #27019 are good friends and keen cycling enthusiasts. The dynamic duo rode for Team ACLT in 2015 and wanted to use their passion for cycling to once again support people needing lifesaving stem cell and organ transplants.
Be inspired by Victoria, Kirk and Ben and ride for Team ACLT!
